Lucy had the privilege of working in the Caribbean Island of St Lucia at the Sugar Beach Hotel. She was invited to create a collection of paintings inspired by her visit. While she was there she was invited to go snorkelling for the first time. The experience sparked something in her imagination. Having had a fascination with mermaids this underwater landscape gave her a whole new way of imagining the magical world they inhabited.
